Experiments of Nature's Prints

Nature's Experiment #1

I am beginning to create and design a small collection of prints, based on juxtaposing print and design we see in nature, the urban lifestyle and alongside my own personal style. Exploring with shapes colour and layout, I hope to create a visually interesting and abstract collection.

The Phoenix

"mythical bird of great beauty fabled to live 500 or 600 years in theArabian
wilderness, to burn itself on a funeral pyre, and to rise from its ashes
in the freshness of youth and live through another cycle of years: often an
emblem of immortality or of reborn idealismor hope."

Organic Exotopic Form : Escaping Entrapment

Escaping Entrapment
The brief was to create a form using balsa wood, it needed to show movement expanding out and be based on organic shapes.

The focus of the organic shapes illustrate wings and feathers.
They were created through manipulated the wood through heat and stenciling .

The movement shows freedom , flying away.

Brothers Tattoo Designs

About a year ago before I was due to move away from my family to the other side of the world, my older brother asked me if I could design his sleeve for him. He wanted me to continue designs that he could keep adding to through time.

Current Stage

Influence is based on skeletons of humans and animals along with juxtaposition of vintage rock and roll imagery, with the guitar is based on his favourite model.

As i am back visiting  for a few months, I have started to sketch up some more ideas for him.
